The first dangerous moment in the game in the 4th minute was created by the Spaniards - Ortiz hit the post. The Ukrainians responded with a shot from Zvarych, which Herrero saved. Solano and Losano later checked Tsypun, and Abakshyn failed to push the ball into the goal at close range.

In the middle of the first half, Tsypun made some great saves, in particular, he denied Chino's shot from the top corner as well as Gomez's one-on-one. In another episode, Campos did not hit the target. However, in the 11th minute, the Pyrenees took the lead - Meliado scored without a chance for Tsypun after the throw in.

The blue-yellows moved on to the game with the fifth fielder, and Shoturma almost closed the far post during one of the situations. Later, Adolfo dangerously missed, and Herrero tried to hit the empty net, but the Ukrainians were rescued by the post.

The Ukrainians responded with Chernyavsky hitting the post and Lebid and Zvarych failing to beat the goalkeeper. However, at least our guys did not manage to reduce the gap by the end of the meeting. As a result, the blue-yellows lost - 1: 4 and could not win a medal at the European Championships, taking the final fourth place.
