Officially. Decision of the UAF CDC regarding Anatoliy Tymoshchuk

Having considered the appeal of the Ethics and Fair Play Committee regarding Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football made the following decisions: 

— prohibit Tymoshchuk A.O. from carrying out any activity related to football (administrative, sports, etc.) for life;

- to deprive Anatoliy Tymoshchuk of all titles and prizes of the Ukrainian Championship, Ukrainian Cup and Ukrainian Super Cup;

— to recommend the UAF Licensing Center to take appropriate measures to revoke (revoke) the Pro-UEFA coaching license of A. O. Tymoshchuk;

— instruct the UAF administration to contact the state authorities regarding the deprivation of A. O. Tymoshchuk of all state awards and honorary titles.

It will be recalled that since the beginning of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, the former captain of the Ukrainian national team, not only did not make any public statements in this regard, but also did not stop his cooperation with the aggressor's club. At a time when another former Ukrainian club, FC Bayern Munich , publishes statements and holds actions in support of Ukraine, Anatoliy continues to remain silent and work for the club of the aggressor. By making this conscious choice, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk damages the image of Ukrainian football and violates Clause 1.4. Part 1 of Art. 4 of the UAF Code of Ethics and Fair Play.
