Euro 2022 (U-19): final tournament draw to take place today
Today, on April 28, the Euro-2022 among U-19 teams (players born in 2003) final tournament draw takes place. The ceremony takes place in Shamorin, Slovakia (starting at 13.00 pm Kyiv time).
Currently, seven of the eight participants in the European Championship are known. In addition to Slovakia, which received a direct pass to the final stage as hosts, these are the winners of the elite round groups - Austria, England, Israel, Italy, Romania and France. The last finalist will be determined in June in a mini-tournament, where Ukraine U-XNUMX team will perform.
It will be recalled that the blue-yellows are in Group 6, where they will meet the teams of Netherlands, Norway and Serbia. The competition was to take place from March 23 to 29 in the Netherlands. In connection with the military aggression against Ukraine UEFA has changed the deadline. Matches with the participation of our team are scheduled for June 1, 4 and 7.

Euro-2022 (U-19)
The final tournament will run from June 18 to July 1 in Slovakia. During the draw, eight participants (including the winner of Group 6) will be divided into two quartets, two teams of which will advance to the semifinals. There is also a match for the fifth place, because the five strongest teams of Euro-2022 (U-19) will receive tickets to the 2023 World Cup (U-20) in Indonesia.
We will remind that Vladimir Yezersky's team in the qualifying round took first place in the group: beat Malta (4: 2) and Finland (2: 1), and drew with Poland (2: 2).
