Euro-2022 (U-17): the headquarters of the youth national team of Ukraine went to Italy for the elite round of the qualifying tournament

The head coach of the blue and yellows Oleg Kuznetsov will gather his wards abroad.

The coaching and administrative staff of the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (players not older than 2005 born) went to Italy. Already abroad, the delegation will be joined by Dynamo and Shakhtar players, who make up the lion's share of the team and currently work in Hungary and Croatia as part of the youth teams of their clubs.

In Italy, where the elite round of the Euro-2022 (U-17) qualifying tournament will take place, Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will be based near Florence. The micro-collection will take place from April 15 to 19. On this day, the national team of Ukraine will move closer to the competition venue, and on the 20th in Poggibons, a starting match is planned with Kosovo. On the 23rd our team will play against Poland in the Colle di Val d'Elsa, and on the 26th - in Siena with Italy.

The final tournament will take place from May 16 to June 1 in Israel. 

Oleg Kuznetsov's wards will compete in Quartet A together with Israel, Germany and Luxembourg in the event of overcoming the elite round of selection in Group 6. If the Ukrainians choose the second place in their four qualifiers, they can get to Group B in France, the Netherlands and Bulgaria. But for this they will need to show a better result than in Hungary, which took second place in Group 1 with one gold point and a goal difference of -2. 

Euro 2022 Final Tournament (U-17)

Group A: Israel, Germany, winner of group 6, Luxembourg.

Group B: France, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Hungary or second team group 6.

Group C: Serbia, Spain, Turkey, Belgium.

Group D: Denmark, Portugal, Scotland, Sweden.

The two best teams from each group will reach the quarterfinals.
