The delegation of the national team of Ukraine plans to arrive at the training camp in Slovenia on May 1

There is one and a half weeks left until the beginning of the training camp of the national team of Ukraine in Slovenia.

Preparations for the temporary departure of the blue-yellows outside the country are currently being finalized. Therefore, the UAF president, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko held a working meeting with the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Petrakov in the capital's House of Football. The meeting was also attended by Oleg Blokhin, co-chairman of the UAF National Teams Committee, Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, first vice-president of the UAF National Teams Committee, the UAF first vice-president, Vadym Kostyuchenko and Serhiy Kunitsyn, head of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol association of football.

Andrii Pavelko, who is in constant contact with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, said that the staff of the training center of the Slovenian National Association is already waiting for the arrival of Ukrainian guests: UEFA and Slovenian colleagues sincerely want to help the blue-yellows in this difficult time of war.

The delegation of the national team of Ukraine headed by Oleksandr Petrakov plans to arrive at the training camp in Brdo on the evening of May 1. The next day, Shakhtar Donetsk players will arrive to take part in the charity match of their club with Haiduk Split the day before. At the request of Dynamo coach Mircea Lucescu, the blue-yellow coach allowed the Kyiv national team to take part in their charity match with Basel on May 4, so Kyiv side will join the national team the next day.

The first friendly game of the national team of Ukraine is scheduled for May 6. The final agreement with UEFA on the date and opponent in the first and all subsequent friendlies will take place in the near future, which will be announced shortly.  

According to UAF President Andrii Pavelko, a TV broadcast of all friendly matches of the national team has been agreed with the official broadcaster of the matches of the national team of Ukraine, Football TV channel. Video and text broadcasts of these matches will also be available online on UAF resources. This will be done for the soldiers and those citizens of our state who currently do not have access to the signal of Ukrainian TV channels due to the destruction caused by the occupiers on our land.

The participants also discussed a special design of the kit in which the Ukrainian national team will play in friendly matches: it is planned that the jerseys will symbolize the stability and unity of our nation in the fight against the enemy, while emphasizing how proud we are to be Ukrainian.

Defenders: Oleksandr Karavaev, Illia Zabarnyi, Oleksandr Syrota, Denys Popov (all - Dynamo Kyiv), Mykola Matviyenko, Serhiy Kryvtsov, Viktor Kornienko, Valeriy Bondar, Yukhym Konoplya (all - Shakhtar Donetsk).

Midfielders: Taras Stepanenko, Mykhailo Mudryk (both Shakhtar Donetsk), Serhiy Sydorchuk, Viktor Tsygankov, Mykola Shaparenko, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, Denys Garmash (all Dynamo Kyiv), Serhiy Buletsa (Zorya Luhansk), Oleksandr Pihalyonok, Oleksiy Hutsulyak (both - SC Dnipro 1).
