Ukraine's Paralympic team has made it to the quarterfinals of the World Cup

At the World Championships in Salou, Spain, the Ukrainian Paralympic team took first place in its group and reached the quarterfinals.

In previous matches of the tournament, the Ukrainians defeated the hosts, the Spaniards (5:0), and the Northern Irish (7:0). Now the blue and yellows confidently beat the team of Argentina - 5: 1.

The Paralympic national football team of Ukraine includes: Konstantin Simashko, Bohdan Dembik, Ivan Donenko, Yaroslav Chernysh, Artem Sheremet, Serhiy Bedenok, Stanislav Podolsky, Artem Krasilnikov, Vitaliy Trushev, Bohdan Kulinych, Ivan Shkvarlo, Vitaliy Romanchuk. Coaches - Sergey Ovcharenko and Taras Dutko.

Having won three victories, the blue and yellows took the first place in Group D. In the quarterfinals, which will take place on May 9, our team will meet the second team of Group B.

Group A: Venezuela, the Netherlands, England, Canada. 

Group B: Thailand, Ireland, Germany, Brazil.

Group C: USA, Iran, Australia.

Group D: Ukraine, Northern Ireland, Argentina, Spain.
