The Ukrainian beach soccer team has begun preparations for the new season

In early May, Mykola Kostenko's wards in the capital of Ukraine began preparations for the responsible competitions of this season. 

The national team of Ukraine is preparing for the 2022 season in the Sunrise arena in Kyiv, the Association of Beach Soccer of Ukraine reports. Due to the current difficult circumstances, the blue and yellows could not gather in full squad, because the war forced many players to travel to different parts of our country and abroad. 

However, the coaching staff of the team conducts training sessions with mixed teams and attracts players from the capital's teams. In particular, the president of the Beach Soccer Association of Kyiv Valeriy Chernev trains with the team. Mykola Kostenko, the coach of the national team, keeps in touch by phone with many experienced players of the national team of Ukraine, who are currently unable to take part in the training.

In the near future, the national team of Ukraine will play in Kyiv at the tournament in memory of Yevhen Ryabchuk. Then our team will prepare for the qualifying round of the Euroleague 2022, which will be held from June 30 to July 3 in Nazare, Portugal. If the selection is successful, Mykola Kostenko's wards will reach the Euroleague Super Final, which will take place in Italy from September 6 to 9. The qualification for the Super Final is also a preliminary qualifying round for the 2023 European Games to be held in Krakow.

Also in the summer, the national team of Ukraine will play a qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Beach Games under the International Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which will be held in Catania, Italy.
