At the World Championships in Salou, Spain, the Ukrainian Paralympic team won gold medals.

In the previous matches of the tournament, the Blue and Yellows won three games and took the first place in Group D. Then in the quarterfinals the Ukrainian team confidently defeated Ireland (5: 1), and in the semifinals with a similar score defeated the US team.

Today in the final the Ukrainians defeated Iran - 1: 0.
