Today, on May 17, in Empol, the national team of Ukraine will hold a friendly match with the local club of the same name (starting at 21.30 pm).

The national team of Ukraine won two victories in six matches with different national teams on Italian soil. And both are not over the Italians. We lost to the hosts two matches out of three in one draw in October 2018.

We managed to win in preparation for the final part of Euro 2016 - in sparring matches with the national teams of Romania and Albania. Both matches were surprisingly productive.

But the last meeting in Italy with a team from another country, although also successful, did not bring us much joy. After all, it was a match of the quarterfinals of Euro 2020, in which Andriy Shevchenko's team lost - 0: 4.
