The national team of Ukraine with FIFA finished the first game day of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 in the eighth position

On Thursday, May 19, the national team of Ukraine in cyber football in the discipline of FIFA started in the main qualifying round of the World Cup of electronic football - FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.

The Ukrainian team consisting of Andriy CIG_ST92 Shakalov, Yaroslav ECF_BlackStar98 Gurmak and Oleksiy ForlanFS Mercer played group stage matches in the "2 on 2" mode of the FIFA 22 simulator on the PlayStation 5 platform with the national teams of Austria, Serbia, Portugal, Ireland and Ireland.

The debut of the qualification could be successful for Ukrainian cyber football players, if they did not miss an annoying goal from Ireland in the last minute of the match. This is despite the fact that the blue and yellows were leading in the score during the meeting - 1: 2.

In the second match, Austria significantly outplayed the Ukrainians and in the first half scored three goals and actually decided the fate of the match. Our players managed to soak up the unpleasant score, but the guys did not have enough strength - 1: 3.

If the conceded goals in the last minutes were a tragedy of the cyber football team of Ukraine, then in the game with Serbia the Ukrainians managed to break the system and before the final whistle to snatch a draw and the first point in qualifying - 1: 1.

Perhaps the most unfortunate for the Ukrainians was the game against Finland, because most of the playing time they outplayed their opponents and did not realize their own opportunities. Two mistakes in the defense buried the hopes of the Ukrainians to take the first three points in the selection - 1: 2.

The national team of Ukraine managed to score a quick goal of Portugal and somewhat stunned the leader of the qualifying group. However, the Iberians intercepted the initiative and scored two goals, which guaranteed them victory - 1: 2.

The most emotional match of the day for the Ukrainian team was a meeting with Switzerland. Opponents sent three quick balls to the blue-yellow goal, however, our Cossacks did not surrender to the rivals and managed to play this crazy handicap - 3: 3!

The Spaniards, like the Portuguese, are one of the favorites of the group, who had one goal to bring the match with the Ukrainians to victory - 0: 1.

Thus, on the first day of the game, the national team of Ukraine with FIFA failed to win at least one victory and earned two points in seven games. The blue and yellows are currently in eighth place in Group A of the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 qualifying round.

On Friday, the Ukrainian team will play the return matches of the main qualifying round of the World Cup in electronic football.
