Also on the agenda was the question of the inability of the teams "Desna" and "Mariupol" to participate in the next draw of the Ukrainian championship due to the destroyed infrastructure and the difficult military situation in their cities. It was decided to assign these teams places in the Ukrainian Premier League. All participants of the meeting unanimously supported this initiative.

Based on the difficult situation in the country in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation, a temporary special regulation will be developed and adopted for the 2022/2023 season, which will provide conditions for competitions in the current situation.

"They discussed the resumption of the Ukrainian championship. All representatives of the clubs had the opportunity to express their views on the situation, but I am glad that no one questioned the feasibility of the competition, - said the President of the UAF, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelko. - It is important for all of us now to preserve football in Ukraine, because it helps people cope with the stress of a full-scale war and is an important psychological support for many children who survived the horrors of war. Therefore, in the near future the working group will work out proposals and opinions of club representatives and detail the options for holding the championship of the season-2022/2023. Thank you to all the participants for a constructive and frank conversation. But first of all I am grateful to the UPL and PFL clubs for their active patriotic position, volunteer work and support for children, families of displaced persons, doctors and our soldiers-defenders.
