The President of the UAF held a working meeting with the President of UEFA

Andriy Pavelko, President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Chairman of the UAF Coordination Center, Member of the UEFA Executive Committee, met with UEFA President Alexander Cheferin. The leaders of the UAF and UEFA discussed a number of working issues, including the holding of the Ukrainian championship and the program to support children's and youth football.

Andriy Pavelko thanked Alexander Cheferin for the significant assistance provided by the Union of European Football Associations to our country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers, and the prompt decision to isolate Russian football from all UEFA-sponsored competitions. "It was the head of UEFA who initiated the creation of a coordination headquarters at the level of the European Football Union, which united the efforts of all Ukrainian-friendly national associations and clubs. Also, with Alexander's assistance, the national team of Ukraine received an invitation to hold a training camp on the basis of the Slovenian national team. I had the opportunity to personally thank him for this and for the great help that our football family receives with the assistance of the UEFA President in general. Together they discussed the possibilities for holding the UPL and PFL championships of Ukraine, which is now very important for the whole of football Ukraine, "said the UAF president.

Andriy Pavelko also noted that he conveyed to Alexander Cheferin the vision of these processes by the presidents of the UPL and PFL clubs and the heads of regional associations with whom he had discussed these issues before. "One of the key and priority areas in this context is children's and youth football of Ukraine, which, I am sure, has a great future. The UEFA President assured that Ukraine will have full support in the European Football Union, "the UAF leader concluded.
