Euro-2023 (U-21): Ukraine's youth team retains chances for a direct ticket to the final tournament
Euro-2023 (U-21) qualifying competitions continue. In particular, there was one match in group N.
France defeated Armenia 4-1 on the road and practically secured the first place in Group N. It should be noted that the youth national team of Ukraine will not fall below the second place and has secured at least participation in the playoffs. However, the blue and yellows have a chance to become the best team among the second or even take first place, although only theoretically (if they win two matches, and France - with a score of 6: 0 or more). In the current ranking of the second teams, Ruslan Rotan's wards currently occupy the third position. To count on a lucky ticket from second place, you need to beat France and hope for a favorable schedule in other groups.
There will be 2023 teams at the final part of Euro-21 (U-16) - Romania and Georgia as hosts of the tournament and 14 other teams that will join them as a result of qualifying (nine group winners, the best team among second place winners and four winners of the playoffs, which will play eight second place winners).
Ruslan Rotan's wards have two matches left to play in the group. Homely match against France the blue-and-yellows will be held on June 9 in Istanbul at the Esenyurt Nejmi Kadioglu arena, where the local Istanbulspor holds its games (seats 4 spectators).
