Defender of the national team of Ukraine Vitaliy Mykolenko spoke about the team's preparations for the start in the League of Nations-2022/2023.

Yesterday, the blue and yellows trained at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, where they will play against Ireland today in the League of Nations. On the eve of the match, Vitaliy Mykolenko recalled that he had never faced the Irish.

"After the flight, we recovered, then trained, ahead of the game. Let's start the League of Nations. We forgot the last match, we need to move on. Now our task is to go to League A, because we flew to League B by mistake. I think we should have stayed in the top division. So now the task is to return.

The stadium in Dublin is cool. I hope that the fans will come to the game to support us and the national team of Ireland, which will be a full arena.

I have never met the Irish. So this will be the premiere meeting. We played with Northern Ireland, but not with Ireland. There was a theory, we were presented with a team, we are preparing. We have already forgotten about the previous match, we are moving on. There will be a fight, "Mykolenko said.

It will be recalled that the first match of the League of Nations 2022/2023 will be played by the Ukrainian national team against Ireland in Dublin. The match will take place today, June 8 (starting at 21.45 pm Kyiv time).
