Roman Yaremchuk: "We understood that we needed to score a quick ball for the Armenians, then more zones would open up"

The forward of Lisbon "Benfica" and the national team of Ukraine Roman Yaremchuk commented on the match of the League of Nations with Armenia and the upcoming match with Ireland.

In its second match of the current League of Nations, the national team of Ukraine won a convincing victory over Armenia (3: 0). The striker of the blue and yellows Roman Yaremchuk shared his thoughts on this match.  

"We expected that the Armenian national team would defend deeply and there would be few free zones. In principle, they were ready for this, but in the second half they found a moment and broke their defense, scored the ball. And a small number of moments is due to the fact that there was little space.

We understood that we needed to score a fast ball, then more zones would open up. In general, 3: 0, so everyone is happy. As for Malinowski's dry series, I think that goals are not his job. His job is to play the game, and then to score on occasion. He had a good match, he is one of the leaders of the national team. I congratulate him on his goal. I think we have to face a tough match with Ireland. The Irish are strong guys, many of them play in the Championship, ”said Roman Yaremchuk.
