Euro-2023 (U-21): Ukraine's youth team will play against Slovakia in the playoffs
It took place today in Nyon, Switzerland the draw for the play-off of the Euro-2023 (U-21) qualification, in which the youth national team of Ukraine will also take part.
In the final part of the tournament there will be 16 teams - Romania and Georgia as hosts and 14 more teams that will join them based on the results of the qualifying (nine group winners, the best team among second place winners and four winners of the playoffs, which will play eight owners second places).
Participants of the final tournament: Romania, Georgia, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Norway, Italy, Switzerland.
According to the results of the draw for the playoffs, Ruslan Rotan's team will meet the team of Slovakia. The future rival of the youth national team of Ukraine took second place in Group C, where he could not overtake Spain, but bypassed Northern Ireland, Lithuania and Malta. The playoffs will take place on September 19-27 this year. Our team will play the first away match against the Slovaks.

The matches of the tournament with the participation of 16 national teams will be hosted by four stadiums in Romania (two in Cluj-Napoca and two in Bucharest) and four in Georgia (in Batumi, Poti and two in Tbilisi). The opening match will take place in Romania, and the final - in Georgia.
