A unique charity tournament took place in Ivano-Frankivsk
On June 26, with the assistance of the UAF, a unique charity tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Together for Victory!" took place in Ivano-Frankivsk.
FC Rukh, which plays in the UPL, the national team among veterans-legends of Ukrainian football, Prykarpattia AFU and Prykarpattia U-19 competed for the main trophy of the competition.

"In April, when we visited Ivano-Frankivsk, we promised to organize such a tournament for the coaches and players of Prykarpattia, who then took an oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine and went to serve in the Armed Forces. Defending our state, players dedicate their free time to their favorite game. During the tournament, they had the opportunity to demonstrate a combination of fighting spirit and playing skills in matches with strong opponents" - UAF president, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andrii Pavelko said.

In parallel with the matches, a fundraiser was organized to support the Armed Forces. On the tracks of the stadium were exhibited cars purchased by the community of Ivano-Frankivsk region for the local rifle battalion, which will soon go to the war zone.
In addition, these competitions were a great gift for displaced children who found temporary shelter in Ivano-Frankivsk and visited the tournament by invitation.

"Together with the head of the regional military administration Yaroslav Demyanchuk, the mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, the military commissar, colonel Volodymyr Yarmoshuk, the UAF first vice president Vadym Kostyuchenko, the deputy head of the regional association of football Taras Klym we noted the participants of the competition. It is an honor for us to join such a social and sports action and help our military heroes!
