UAF held a webinar for the Network of Child Protection Managers

On Friday, July 15, an introductory webinar was held for child protection managers representing regional football associations.

The purpose of the webinar was:

- to acquaint the participants with the concept and tools of UEFA for the protection of children in football;

- improve practical skills and motivation in order to create a safer environment for children in football;

— to acquaint the participants with the activities of the UAF in terms of child protection in football, in particular, with the UAF Policy on child protection.

In addition, the managers will take online courses developed by UEFA and the Swiss organization in the field of child protection Terre des Hommes, and will start work on strengthening the protection of children in football in different parts of Ukraine.

We remind you that on December 10, 2021, in the House of Football, the Executive Committee of the UAF adopted Policy of the Ukrainian Football Association regarding the protection of children.

This policy affirms the UAF's commitment to providing safe conditions for children to play football or participate in football-related activities, regardless of their age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, social background, religion and level of ability or disability.

Such familiarization seminars have already been held for UAF employees, partner organizations, volunteers of social children's projects, etc. UAF has already started work on integrating the child protection course into the training program for trainers. The next stage will be the holding of informative webinars on child protection issues for DUFL clubs.
