BSWW world rating: the women's beach soccer team of Ukraine immediately rose seven positions

After the performance at Mundialito-2022, the Ukrainian women's beach soccer team has dramatically improved its position in the world ranking.

The World Beach Soccer Organization (BSWW) has updated the ranking of the national teams after the men's and women's Mundialito 2022, which took place from July 21 to 23 in the Canary Islands, and after the EuroLeague 2022 in Division B, which lasted from July 27 to August 1 in Moldova. The women's beach soccer team of Ukraine took part in the first ever women's Mundialito and took third place at the tournament. Yuriy Klymenko's wards conceded to England (1:6) and Spain (1:5) and beat the Czech Republic (9:5). This result allowed Ukrainian women to rise seven positions in the BSWW world ranking. Now our team is in ninth place with 180 points, 45 points behind Paraguay.

Our men's national team, on the contrary, somewhat weakened its position. Mykola Kostenko's wards have dropped one step compared to the previous month and are now in the 17th place in the BSWW world ranking, with 753 points. It lags behind the United States of America by eight points.

We would like to remind you that the next tournament for our men's and women's national teams will be the second stage of selection for the Euroleague 2022 Super Final. It should be noted that for men it is also a qualification for the 2023 European Games in Krakow. The competition will take place on September 6-9.
