The men's and women's national beach football teams of Ukraine learned about their opponents in the qualification of the World Beach Games

Today in the Spanish city of San Sadurni d'Anoia, the drawing procedure for the European qualification for the 2023 World Beach Games in Bali took place. 

13 men's and 7 women's teams took part in the draw at the BSWW headquarters, which will compete for five and four passes to the finals, respectively. The European qualifying tournament will be held from August 29 to September 4 in Catania, Italy. 

By the will of the draw, the men's national team of Ukraine got into group C, together with the teams of Switzerland and Azerbaijan.

Group A: Italy, France, Norway.

Group B: Portugal, Germany, Moldova.

Group C: Switzerland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan.

Group D: Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Sweden.

According to the selection rules, the two best teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals of the qualifying tournament.

The women's beach soccer team of Ukraine has entered Group B, where they will compete against Spain, Switzerland and Sweden.
