The heads of the UAF and the UPL discussed with the representatives of the Premier League clubs the preparation for the start of the championship

A working meeting with representatives of clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League was held at the House of Football on the initiative of the president of UAF, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Andriy Pavelek. UPL Executive Director Yevhen Dykiy and UAF First Vice-Presidents Anatoliy Demyanenko, Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, Oleg Protasov, Alan Pliev and Vadym Kostyuchenko also took part in the discussion of key issues of preparation for the start of the championship of Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting, among other things, discussed the issue of approval of the security protocol for the competition, which is being approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, law enforcement agencies and local authorities of the regions where the tournament matches are planned to be played. Also, the heads of the UAF, UPL and representatives of the clubs paid attention to the issue of creating a single TV pool.

As Andrii Pavelko pointed out, the safety of the competition is the number one priority: "After all, it is not only about UPL matches, but also about matches of the PFL championship, women's club teams and U-19." Also, according to Andrii Pavelek, the search for opportunities to support clubs in this difficult time, in particular, in the financing of arbitration, continues. "An important condition for the successful start of the first ever football championship in wartime conditions and overcoming all obstacles along the way is the unity and mutual support of the participating clubs. After all, we all have a common goal - the victory of Ukraine and the revival of Ukrainian football!" - stressed the head of the UAF.
