Futsal Euro-2022 (U-19) is underway in Jaen, Spain. The youth national team of Ukraine continued its performance in the final tournament with a match against Romania.
In the first round, Vitaliy Odegov's wards won a strong-willed victory over Croatia (6:4), and in another match of group A, the Spanish hosts scored nine goals against the Romanians. Now it is the turn of the blue and yellow to test the power of their geographical neighbors.

In the first half, the Ukrainians had a significant game advantage, twice hitting the frame of the opponent's goal. However, only Semenchenko was able to score, who scored from a distance in the 9th minute. But before the break, the Romanians did not use several dangerous moments.
Immediately after the break, Chog equalized, but our boys scored again in the 25th minute. The Briton served a corner, and Kvasniy shot between the goalkeeper's legs with a flying kick. Yaroslav could have scored a double right away, but the post saved the Romanians.

However, in the 29th minute, Kvasniy did score again, sending the ball into an empty net for the opponents' play with the fifth field goal. Immediately, the Ukrainians increased their advantage - Dychuk hit the top corner with a cool shot. Later, the blue-yellow team scored again - Lutai scored. Before the end of the match, our boys hit the goal frame several times, and the Romanians managed to score one goal. In the end, Vitaliy Odegov's wards won with a score of 5:2.
The Ukrainians reached the semi-finals, and on September 7 they will meet the hosts in the final match of the group tournament.
