The Ukrainian beach soccer team reached the small semi-finals of Euroleague-2022

Today, the Ukrainian beach soccer team defeated Germany in the selection for the Euroleague 2022 Super Final, which is taking place in Cagliari, Italy.

After yesterday's victory over Azerbaijan - 2:1 Mykola Kostenko's wards met Germany in the last match of the Euroleague 2022 group round. 

The match took place with a slight advantage of blue and yellow. At the end of the first period, Oleg Zborovsky managed to open the score, and at the beginning of the second 12-minute period, Dmytro Medvid doubled it. However, in five minutes, the Germans reduced the deficit thanks to a shameful own goal by Andrii Borsuk.

In the third period, the teams exchanged goals, and our team won - 3:2. Thus, Mykola Kostenko's wards scored six points and took third place in Group B. This enabled them to reach the so-called small semi-finals and compete for 5-8 places and a pass to the 2023 European Games.
