UEFA Youth League. "Rukh" U-19 beat "Zaglembe" at the start of the Road of Champions of Countries

"Rukh" from Lviv is participating in the draw of the UEFA Youth League for the 2022/2023 season among the U-19 teams, which became the first team of the preliminary draw of the championship of Ukraine. It should be noted that in this way the yellow and black will make their debut in the European Cups.

In the opening round of the Path of the Champions of the Countries, the wards of Vitaliy Ponomaryova faced the Polish club "Zaglembe". Due to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, "Rukh" was forced to play a home match in Lublin, on the opponent's field.

Lviv residents managed to win - 1:0. Nepeipiev scored the only goal in the 24th minute. At the same time, the Ukrainian team spent almost the entire second half in the minority.

The return match will also take place in Lublin on October 5.
