Euro-2023 in women's futsal: the dates and venue of matches of the Ukrainian national team in the main round have been decided
The women's futsal team of Ukraine will hold its matches of the main selection round of the 2023 European Championship in Poznań, Poland, on October 19-22 this year.
The final part of Euro-2023 in women's futsal with the participation of four national teams is scheduled for March 2023. The selection cycle will still consist of two stages. The previous round took place on May 10-14, and the main round with the participation of 16 strongest teams will take place on October 19-23. Four group winners will advance to the finals.
The women's futsal team of Ukraine will start its journey from the main round, where its opponents in group 2 will be Poland, Croatia and the winner of group A of the previous round, which was the Netherlands. It should be noted that Ukraine was previously supposed to be the host of the mini-tournament, however, due to the Russian aggression of UEFA suffered matches of the quartet to Poland.
As of the Futsal Association of Ukraine press-service reports., Group 2 matches of the main round will be held in Poznań, Poland on October 19, 20 and 22.
