Euro-2023 (U-21). Today, the youth national team of Ukraine will play the return match of the playoff selection against Slovakia (live - from 18.30:XNUMX p.m. on the UAF YouTube channel)

Today at 18.30 Kyiv time in the Polish city of Bielsko-Biala at the Municipal Stadium, the return match of the Euro-2023 (U-21) play-off between Ukraine and Slovakia will begin. Norwegian Rohit Saggi will act as the main referee of the meeting. The live broadcast will take place on regional channels Public broadcasting, as well as on YouTube channels of the Ukrainian Football Association.

In the first match of the Euro qualification playoffs, the youth national team of Ukraine gave up in Žilina — 2:3. So now our team must win in the nominally home match against the Slovaks.

"We devoted these two days to the team's recovery, both physically and psychologically. They took this time to recover, so I think the guys are ready and understand what is needed. I think that everything is in our hands and feet.

Regarding the personnel situation, as it happens after matches, there are some micro-damages. Vivcharenko will miss the match due to disqualification. This is our only loss.

In terms of psychology, everything is apparently arranged in such a way that boys understand: unnecessary emotions and experiences should be discarded. There is a match to be won. Everyone understands this very well," — said head coach of Ukrainians Ruslan Rotan on the eve of the meeting.

The blue and yellow were eliminated twice: in the Euro 2002 qualification play-offs by Switzerland (two defeats with a score of 1:2), in the Euro 2015 qualification play-offs by Germany (0:3 at home, 0:2 away). .
