Euro-2023 (U-17). Ukraine took first place in the group of the qualifying round

Today, on October 30, with a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the youth national team of Ukraine U-17 (players not older than 2006) completed their performance in the Euro-2023 qualifying round.
Victory over Azerbaijan (5:2) and Liechtenstein (7:0) guaranteed Yury Moroz's wards the promotion to the elite round. So in the final match of group 2, the Ukrainians played with the Bosnians for first place. The game took place on the host's soil — in the training center of the Bosnian Football Federation in Zenica.
The match ended in a draw - 1:1. In the 66th minute, Pashko finished Kalyn's pass at the far post, and at the end of the game, Brekalo equalized the score with a shot into the top corner.
The draw allowed the blue-yellow team to take first place in the quartet. Now our players are waiting for the draw of the elite round, which takes place on December 8.
