In the first match of the Neom Beach Soccer Cup 2022, the women's beach soccer team of Ukraine lost to Brazil

Today in Saudi Arabia the women's beach soccer team of Ukraine started in the prestigious tournament Neom Beach Soccer Cup 2022.

In the first match of the competition, the blue-yellow team, led by national team captain Yulia Dekhtyar in the absence of head coach Yury Klymenko due to family reasons, met with the fourth team of the BSWW world ranking, Brazil.

The Ukrainian women came to the tournament with an incomplete team, so they faced a difficult task in today's meeting. Despite this, our girls looked very decent against a top opponent. 

In the first period, they could even open the scoring, but the shot of our goalkeeper Anastasia Terech hit the crossbar. But the Brazilians took advantage of their chance, and on the 7th minute, Taiane pushed the ball into the net of our goal.

In the second 12-minute period, there was an equal struggle without scored goals. In the third period, Anastasia Vypasniak had a chance to equalize the score, but again the goal frame stood in the way. Instead, within a minute, Taiane scored a double with a powerful shot. 

Thus, 0:2 is the defeat of the Ukrainian national team, which will meet the English team tomorrow.
