The committee of referees of the Ukrainian Football Association explained the interpretation of some game episodes of the match of the 13th round of the Vbet League between Shakhtar and Zorya, which took place on November 13.

The chief refereeing expert of the UAF, Nicola Rizzoli, commented on certain episodes of the refereeing of the match of the 13th round of the Vbet League between Shakhtar and Zorya.

It is correct to regard this situation as deserving of punishment.

The situation is very borderline - it is difficult to understand whether player No. 6 of Shakhtar FC is in an "offside" position or is on the line with the penultimate player. The recommendations given by the UAF Referees Committee, as well as by UEFA and FIFA, are very clear: "When in doubt, keep the flag down." Therefore, in a situation such as this, the Referee Committee expects the Assistant Referee not to raise the flag.
