Today, November 30, the draw for the second stage of the competition in the championship of Ukraine among teams of the first league of the 2022/2023 season took place in the House of Football.
According to the results of the first stage of the competition in the first league in groups "A" and "B" determined teams that will continue to fight for places in the UPL and those that will compete for the right to stay in the first league. This format was defined and approved by the PFL Conference.
Note that in both groups teams will compete based on points earned in matches against each other this fall. We will remind that in the second stage, the teams of group "A" will play only with the teams of group "B" in two rounds.
Based on the results of the draw, he was formed has published a calendar competitions in the Champions and Elimination groups. The spring stage of the competition in the first league will start on April 8, 2023.

We would like to remind you that according to the regulations, following the results of the competition, the two winners of the championship group will go directly to the UPL, and the teams that will take the third and fourth places will play in the playoffs with the teams that will take the 14th and 13th places in the UPL, respectively.
As for the relegation group, the eighth team goes directly to the second division and the seventh plays a play-off against the second team of the second division.
Thus, the teams will play a total of 176 matches. One team plays 22 matches in the championship.
