Poltava "Vorskla" won the Cup of Ukraine among women's teams of the 2021/2022 season

In the final match of the Cup of Ukraine-2021/2022 among women, Poltava "Vorskla" defeated Kovaliv "Kolos".

The final match of the Cup of Ukraine for the 2021/2022 season took place in Kyiv at the Left Bank stadium. In the fight for the trophy, Poltava "Vorskla", which reached the finals of the competition for the third time in a row (although in the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons the team eventually won the cup called "Zhytlobud-2") and Kovaliv "Kolos" (Lyudmila's wards Pokotylo reached this stage of the tournament for the first time in its short history).

Poltava started the match with a bang. Already in the 2nd minute, Yana Kalinin completed a cross from the right wing, but the ball slipped past the opponent's keeper straight into the far corner of the goal.

In the 18th minute, "Vorskla" doubled its advantage. Yana Kotyk managed to push the ball into the net at the second pace after a cross into the penalty area.

In the second half, "Colossus" had a real opportunity to reduce the deficit, but Beata Ambruš could not beat Kateryna Samson from the 11-meter mark.

In the end, it was 2:0 in favor of "Vorskla", which, under the guidance of Natalia Zinchenko, became the winner of the Cup of Ukraine-2021/2022.

We would like to add that the winners of the Cup of Ukraine among women's teams were nine clubs. "Zhytlobud-11" from Kharkiv is leading with 1 titles. The trophy was also won by "Donchanka" (Donetsk), "Legend" (Chernihiv) - four times each, "Vorskla" (Poltava)/"Zhytlobud-2" (Kharkiv) - three times, "Metalist" (Kharkiv), "Alina" (Kyiv) — two each, Naftokhimik (Kalush), Dynamo (Kyiv), Arena (Kyiv/Fastiv) — once each.
