On December 8, four draws will be held in Nyon for the Ukrainian national teams
On December 8, four Euro-2023 and Euro-2024 draws for the U-17 and U-19 youth teams will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
The procedure will begin at 10 a.m. Kyiv time the draw for the Euro 2024 (U-19) qualifying round. During it, the youth national team of Ukraine (currently U-18), managed by Oleg Kuznetsov, will learn the names of their opponents. Mini-tournaments in 13 groups will be held between September 4-12, October 9-17, or November 13-21, 2023. The first two qualifying group winners and the best third-place finishers from the matches against the first and second teams will join Portugal in the elite qualifying round. The national team of Northern Ireland, as the host, won a direct pass to the final stage, which will be held in the summer of 2024.
At 11.00 the ceremony starts draw of the qualifying round of Euro-2024 (U-17), where the current youth national team of Ukraine U-16, led by Volodymyr Yezerskyi, will be waiting for their opponents. 13 quartets will be formed. Mini-tournaments at this stage will take place between July 1 and November 21, 2023. 52 national associations will participate in the draw, as hosts Cyprus have been given a direct ticket to the final stage, while the Netherlands will begin their competition in the elite round.
The procedure will start at 12.00 p.m. draw of the elite round of selection of Euro-2023 (U-19). The opponents of Serhiy Nagornyak's wards will be determined, who after the victories over Kosovo (1:0), Cyprus (4:1) and Sweden (2:0) finished their performance in the qualifying round with the highest score in first place in the group. Due to this, before the drawing of the elite round of selection, the blue-yellow team got to the first basket. The winners of the seven groups will advance to the final stage (matches will be played between July 3 and 16, 2023), where they will meet the hosts of the tournament, Malta.
And finally, it will start at 12.45 draw of the elite round of selection of Euro-2023 (U-17). The opponents of Yuri Moroz's team, which is in the qualifying round, will become known took first place in its group, ahead of the teams of Azerbaijan (5:2), Liechtenstein (7:0) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (1:1). Now at stake are 15 tickets to the final stage, the matches of which will take place between May 17 and June 2, 2023 in Hungary. The eight winners of the groups of the elite round of selection and the seven runners-up with the best results will go there. They will be joined by the host country.
