UEFA approved the dates and venues of the tournaments of the second round of Euro 2023 selection in the WU-19 and WU-17 categories with the participation of the national teams of Ukraine

On December 7, in Nyon, the drawing ceremonies for the second round of selection for Euro-2023 (WU-19) and Euro-2023 (WU-17) took place, as a result of which the youth women's and girls' national teams of Ukraine learned the names of their opponents. UEFA has now approved the dates and venues of the competition. 

Football players of the youth women's national team of Ukraine WU-19, led by Valery Palamarchuk, will play in Group 2023 of League A with the teams of Denmark, Sweden and Iceland in the second round of selection for the 5 European Championship. UEFA reported that tournament in our group will take place in Denmark between April 5 and 11, 2023. 

In turn, the women's national team of Ukraine WU-17 under the leadership of Serhii Sapronov will play in group 6 of League B together with the teams of Bulgaria and Latvia. The tournament will take place in Bulgaria in the period from March 3 to March 9, 2023. 

Euro-2023 (WU-19). Second round

In League A, 28 teams will play in seven groups, including seven national teams that were promoted from League B following the results of the first round. The seven group winners from the second round of the A-League (and the best runner-up if Belgium finishes first in the group) will qualify for the final stage, which will be played from 18 to 30 July 2023. The fourth-placed teams in the groups will start the first round of the 2023/2024 season in League B.

Teams in League B, including those relegated from League A after the autumn stage, in seven groups (three with four participants, four with three) will fight for tickets to the first round of League A in the next draw.

We will remind, the youth women's national team of Ukraine took it third place in its group of the first round and kept registration in League A. According to the results of the draw, Valery Palamarchuk's wards got into group A5, where they will play with Denmark, Sweden and Iceland.

League A

Group A3: France, Portugal, Hungary, Romania.

Group B7: Scotland, Albania, Liechtenstein.

Euro-2023 (WU-17). Second round

In League A, 28 teams will play in seven groups, including seven national teams that were promoted from League B following the results of the first round. The seven A-League second-round group winners (and the best second-place finisher if Estonia finishes first in the group) will qualify for the final stage, which will take place between 14 and 26 May 2023. The fourth-placed teams in the groups will start the first round of the 2023/2024 season in League B.

Teams in League B, including those relegated from League A after the autumn stage, in six groups (two with four participants, four with three) will fight for tickets to the first round of League A in the next draw. They will be awarded to the winners of the groups, as well as to the best second team. 

We will remind you that the women's national team of Ukraine is in its group of the first round took it the last place and relegated to League B. According to the results of the draw, Serhii Sapronov's wards got into group B6, where they will play with Latvia and Bulgaria.

League A
