Honored coach of Ukraine Hennadiy Lysenchuk is celebrating his 75th anniversary

Today, December 18, Gennady Lysenchuk turned 75 years old - a celebrated football specialist, a doctor of sciences in physical education and sports, a corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, an honored worker of physical culture and sports of Ukraine, an honored coach of Ukraine.

It was under the leadership of Lysenchuk that the national futsal team of Ukraine, which he led for 18 years, achieved the greatest success in its history — it became the silver medalist of the European Championship (2001, 2003) and took fourth place at the World Championship (1996).

Born on December 18, 1947.

Master of sports. Played as a goalkeeper in the teams "Silbud" (Poltava), "Dnipro" (Kremenchuk), "Shakhtar" (Kadyivka), "Zorya" (Voroshilovgrad), "Tavria" (Simferopol), "Krylya Sovetov" (Kuibyshev), " Metallurg" (Zaporizhia), "Kolos" (Nikopol).

He coached the teams "Kolos" (Nikopol), "Sudnobudivnyk" (Mykolaiv), "Vorskla" (Poltava), "Kryvbas" (Kryvyi Rih).

In 1991–1992, he worked as a leading specialist of the sports games department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Since 1993, he has been the head of the Mini-Football (Futsal) Association of Ukraine. Since 1996, he has been a member of the Technical Committee of the International Student Sports Federation (FISU).

Since 1992, he has been the head of the football department of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine. Member of the scientific council of NUFVSU, professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, honored coach of Ukraine, honored worker of physical culture and sports of Ukraine.

From 1994 to 2012, he coached the national futsal team of Ukraine.

Awarded the Order "For Merit" of the XNUMXnd degree and the Order "Badge of Honor".
