Oleksandr Shovkovskyi: "There are always two teams in my life"

The assistant head coach of the national team, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, whose employment contract with UAF has expired, thanked the football association for four years of cooperation and expressed his readiness to help the national team of Ukraine in the future.

"My main thanks to UAF president Andrii Pavelko for believing in me at one time, recommending me to the coaching staff of the national team," Shovkovskyi notes, "there are two teams in my heart throughout my life - the national team and Dynamo Kyiv." Currently, I have chosen the path of my personal coaching improvement by accepting the offer of my native club. Today I am moving on and at the same time I am ready at any moment to return to work in the coaching staff of the main team, combining it with club duties, if there is such an invitation from the UAF or the new coach of the national team. I wish the national team new outstanding achievements! I don't say "Goodbye" to the national team, but only "Goodbye". Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the nation! Glory to the Armed Forces!"
