This year, the women's national team of Ukraine WU-17 will take part in League B matches of the second stage of Euro-2023 selection and will try to return to the top division.

According to the approved by the UAF Women's Football Committee and confirmed by the UAF Executive Committee calendar of women's football events for 2023 Serhiy Sapronov's wards will start their first training camp on February 26, after which the second stage of the Euro-2023 B League selection awaits the team at the beginning of March. The blue-yellow team will play in group 6 together with the teams of Bulgaria and Latvia. The tournament will take place in Bulgaria in the period from March 3 to March 9.

"We will focus on winning the first place, which will allow us to return to League A. We will make maximum efforts for this. Perhaps already in April 2023, if the situation permits, at the Development Cup in Romania, we will review another group of young soccer players already with an eye on performing in the first round of selection for the next continental championship." — Told me earlier in the comments of UAF Serhii Sapronov.

In April, the blue-yellow team will attend a training camp and participate in the UEFA Development Tournament, which will take place in Romania on the 22nd-29th. Four teams will take part in the competition: Ukraine, Romania, Greece and Azerbaijan.

In September, the women's national team of Ukraine WU-17 is waiting for matches of a new cycle - the selection of Euro-2024, the draw for which will take place in June.
