General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: operational information on the Russian invasion (as of 06.00 01.02.2023)

We bring to your attention the operative information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00:01.02.2023 on March XNUMX, XNUMX regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and forty-third day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the occupiers launched five air strikes and six missile strikes. They carried out more than 65 attacks from rocket salvo systems. The civilian infrastructure of settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions was affected.

The danger of Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.

The enemy does not stop offensive actions in the Lymansky and Bakhmutsky directions. Suffers great losses. Conducts unsuccessful offensive actions in the Avdiyiv and Novopavliv directions.

Last day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Yampolivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Blagodatne, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka and Paraskoviivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

On the Volyn, Polis, Siver and Slobozhan directions without significant changes, no offensive groups of the enemy were detected. The areas of Rozhkovichi, Basivka, Oleksandrivka and Grabovske settlements in the Sumy region and Veterinarne, Strelecha, Hlyboke, Zelene, Neskuchne, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Staritsa and Budarka settlements in the Kharkiv region were fired with mortars and artillery.

On the Kupyansk direction the enemy shelled the positions of our troops in the Ivanivka, Kupyansk, Kislivka and Kotlyarivka districts of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivka and Kovalivka districts of the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction Novoyehorivka, Nevske, Chervonpopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova in the Luhansk Region suffered fire damage.

In the Bakhmut direction Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Berestov, Belogorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Predtechine, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba and Mayorsk of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In the Avdiivka direction Berdychi, Tonenka, Severna, Avdiyivka, Vodiane, Georgiyivka, Maryinka and Pobyeda were shelled.

In the Novopavlovsk direction areas of the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Novoukrayinka, Bogoyavlenka, Vugledar and Mykilski Dachi of the Donetsk region were damaged by fire.

In the Zaporozhye direction areas of 20 settlements were affected by fire. Among them are Vremivka and Novopil in the Donetsk region and Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Charivne, Orikhov and Novodanilivka in Zaporizhzhia.

On the Kherson direction Areas of 21 settlements were shelled by multiple rocket launchers, barrel artillery and mortars. In particular, these are Zolota Balka, Mykolayivka, Tyaginka, Ponyativka, Antonivka, Berehove, Yantarne and Kherson. There are victims among the civilian population.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. Thus, another military hospital has been established in the Novoivanyvka district of the Luhansk region. About 100 Russian servicemen are being treated. The severity of the injury is usually underestimated and not recorded in medical records. After providing minimal assistance, they are sent to the front line.

During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made nine strikes on enemy concentration areas and two strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.

Rockets and gunners struck 13 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, one command post and one ammunition depot.
