"We in Ukraine need to speak in one voice with the world regarding defense supplies and increase pressure on Russia." Address of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the people, talking about a particularly important meeting of the members of the Staff in a narrow format and about our struggle against the internal enemy.

"I wish you health, dear Ukrainians!

Today, during the day, there was no shortage of statements and comments, there was no shortage of news, especially in the diplomatic sphere.

Therefore, today's report is short. And I will start with what has not been reported yet.

He held a meeting of the Stavka today, for the first time - in a double format.

First, the traditional full lineup of Stavka. They reviewed the situation at the front, Russia's efforts to increase pressure on Donbas. Provision of the army. Personnel training and other matters of constant attention of the Stavka.

And then, in the afternoon, there is an additional meeting of members of the Stavka in a narrow format. For a particularly weighty conversation.

We will not leave any aggressive action of the occupier without our response. The enemy is in a specific stage, when Russia's strategic defeat is already clear. But tactically, they still have a resource for offensive attempts. They are looking for options to try to change the course of the war and are trying to use the potential of all the territories they still control at the service of aggression.

We must continue what we are doing: strengthen our resilience, be absolutely united in our desire to provide our army and all defenders with the necessary weapons and equipment - we in Ukraine need to speak with one voice to the world regarding defense supplies. And we also have to significantly increase global pressure on Russia every month.

The enemy should emerge from this stage significantly more weakened than they envision for themselves in the worst-case scenarios.

This is a difficult task for us. But we must fulfill it.

We continue our fight against the internal enemy. Thank you to the Security Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General's Office and all those who are still involved in cleaning up our country. There will be new steps.

Today, within the framework of the negotiations with the President of the European Commission and the members of the College of the European Commission, we reached a very important mutual understanding. About the fact that only together a strong Ukraine and a strong European Union are able to protect the life we value.

About the fact that Ukraine needs constant and full support in defense against Russia.

And about the fact that our further integration should give energy and motivation to our people to fight despite any obstacles and threats.

I believe that Ukraine deserves to start negotiations on EU membership already this year.

And I thank the President of the European Commission and her colleagues and our friends in the EU for their tangible support on the path of integration and in the protection of our state and people.

This is military, financial, energy and social support. And these are the changes with which we ensure greater interaction between our institutions — Ukraine and the EU.

Tomorrow is the second European integration day this week. The Ukraine-EU summit will take place. We are getting ready.

And one more.

Took part in the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington today. This is an annual event that brings together the most powerful representatives of the American state and society. There was President Biden, there were senators and members of the House of Representatives, leaders of religious communities and various political communities.

I called on them to do everything they can, and as they must, in confronting Russian evil, so that the power of their actions complements the power of our prayers.

Molytov for salvation from evil, for victory over invaders and for peace for all our people - in all cities and communities of free Ukraine.

I thank each of our soldiers! To all soldiers and sailors, sergeants and foremen, officers and generals! To all who are persistent!

I thank everyone who helps Ukraine! Let all those who pray for our victory be heard!

Glory to Ukraine!"
