The second league: practice in the PFL winter championship, sparring between two "Niv", transfer activity of "Zvyagel"

The PFL winter championship is coming to an end, in which three representatives of the third-ranked division are participating.

Among them, "Niva" from Buziv is doing the best, which in the next round overcame the resistance of "Chaika" (Petropavlivska Borshchagivka) - 3:1. Although the main contender for the first place is "Left Bank", which performs without losses and is determined to return to the PFL from the new season.

By the way, it was the team from Buzova, which, let's recall, is confidently leading in the second league championship of Ukraine, played the most control matches - 14, winning nine, drawing twice and conceding three times. Let's single out the victory of Serhiy Karpenko's wards over first-league "Chernihiv" — 2:0.

The closest pursuer of the Buziv residents, "Real Pharma", has traditionally focused on participating in the winter championship of the Odesa region, where it is considered the main contender for victory.

Another team from the leading group, "Niva" from Vinnytsia, played 12 control matches (five wins and seven losses). It should be clarified that in some of the lost sparring matches, the youth team played for the Podolians. Goalkeeper Maksym Kovalenko from Metalist will defend the colors of "Niva" on loan.

Zvyagel became active in the transfer market, signing Vladyslav Pavlenko, Taras Zavadovych, Yuriy Bambolya, Nazar Myhal, Maksym Maitak, Volodymyr Goncharov and Vadym Hupalenko. The team from Zhytomyr Oblast is currently meeting in Rivne, where it is sparring with amateur teams from neighboring regions. There are also changes in the coaching staff - from now on Oleg Shevchenko, who once played for "Yednist", "Polyssia" and "Desna", will be responsible for the training of goalkeepers.

"Khusta" football players conduct sparring sessions with variable success. Having drawn with first-league Lviv "Karpaty" (1:1), Volodymyr Tsytkin's wards were then defeated - 1:5 by amateurs from "Sevlyush", which, by the way, is led by ex-player of the Ukrainian national team Adrian Pukanych. Experienced goalkeeper Ihor Levchenko, known for his performances for "Metalurg" from Zaporizhzhia, got a job in "Khust".

But for the players of the "VAST" club, the sparring sessions are not going well so far. However, Mykolaiv residents have already legalized relations with two winter newcomers — defender Ruslan Berezansky and midfielder Radion Lisnyak.

And finally, about "Chaika", which was left by one of the most experienced players, stopper Mykhailo Tsebro. It is not surprising that the new team leader Serhiy Syzykhin is currently focused primarily on strengthening the defensive link.
