The national team of Ukraine gathered in London to begin preparations for the start of the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.

Wartime requires specific logistics, so the collectors traveled from Ukraine in two groups. Dynamo Kyiv players and Denis Miroshnichenko from "Olexandria" together with the administrative and medical staff left on Sunday evening by train from Kyiv to Przemyśl. There they changed to a bus and covered another 80 km to Rzeszów airport. The second group, consisting of the coaching staff and players of Shakhtar and Dnipro-1, who played their matches of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League in Western Ukraine, arrived there by another bus from Lviv. The goalkeeper of "Alexandria" Nikita Shevchenko also entered the same group.

Evgeny Konoplyanka, who returned to the national team as a player of "Krakow", came to the airport independently from Krakow. The meeting with the national team was warm - Evgeny had not seen the boys for a long time, and they were also very happy to see one of the most experienced performers of the national team.

In this composition, the blue and yellow took off on a chartered flight to London at 13.30:XNUMX p.m. after Kyiv.

The flight lasted a little over two hours. From Stansted Airport, the team went directly to the Hilton Syon Park Hotel, which will become its London residence for a week.

All Ukrainian representatives of the English Premier League, as well as performers from other championships - Eduard Sobol, Andriy Yarmolenko, Andriy Lunin and Roman Yaremchuk - will arrive at the hotel for lunch. A little later, at 18 p.m., Ruslan Malinovskyi will fly from Marseille.

Tonight, the national team's program includes restorative fitness exercises at the hotel. And tomorrow, the blue and yellow team will hold their first training session at the Brentford FC base.
