Denys Miroshnichenko: "The coach asked if I was ready to play at Wembley"

The defender of the national team of Ukraine Denys Miroshnichenko spoke about his emotions from the first call to the national team - for the Euro-2024 qualification match with England.

"The call to the national team was really unexpected for me. I was already returning home after the last match of the club, and then the coach called. He said that I was going to collect. Ruslan Petrovych asked if I was ready to play at Wembley. Then we laughed a little. He supported me and said he was waiting. I was a bit surprised and now I'm overcome with emotion. After all, the first challenge... It was very pleasant. This is a dream come true.

Our opponent is one of the best teams in the world, so the expectations for the match are incredible. Well, how it will turn out, we will find out only after its completion. But we are waiting for a positive result. It is a very big dream to play in such a stadium," said Denys Miroshnichenko.
