U-21: the youth national team of Ukraine snatched victory in the sparring match with the Danish team in the last seconds

As part of preparations for the Euro-2023 (U-21) final tournament, the youth national team of Ukraine played a test match against the Danish team in Belek, Turkey.

At the beginning of the match, the teams exchanged blows in the plane, in the future the Danes had the advantage. In particular, in the 17th minute, Fesyun had to be rescued twice during one opponent's attack. The blue-yellow team didn't take long to respond - in the 21st minute, Nazarenko was brought alone with Jorgensen, but Oleksandr hit the post. However, within a moment the Ukrainians did score - Drambaev broke into the penalty area and threw his heel at Bragara, who beautifully spun into the distant "nine".

At the end of the first half, the Danes pressed our team, Fahir and Kjergaard were remembered for their shots past the goal. In the 40th minute, the Scandinavians scored a penalty for a foul by Didyk in their own penalty area. However, Fahir hit the crossbar from the mark, and Hansen could not hit the empty goal from the finish.

Immediately after the break, the Danes fought back - Kvistgorden blocked a cross from the right flank at the far post. In the future, the Scandinavians had the upper hand and struck a few more blows. However, in the 67th minute, after a pass from Roman, Ocheretko again put the blue-yellow team ahead with a smart long shot.

Soon Zhelizko also scored from a good distance. The Ukrainians focused more on maintaining the advantage, but again brought a penalty, which was realized by Kiergaard. At the end of the meeting, the Danes wasted two more scoring chances. However, the last word remained with the Ukrainians - in the last seconds of stoppage time, Vyunnyk went down the left flank and beat the goalkeeper, while Sikan finished the ball into the net. 3:2.

Next, our "youngster" is expected to move - on March 27, the blue and yellow team will hold a sparring match against the Italian team in the city of Reggio di Calabria.
