Defender of the national team of Ukraine Eduard Sobol commented defeat - 0:2 from England at Wembley in a Euro 2024 qualifier.

"It's a pity that we lost today. The coach's instruction was not to be afraid to play football on the pitch and to show what we had worked on in training. I think that sometimes we came out very well from the defense, but we conceded two goals and tried to fight back. There are many matches ahead, so we will strive for results.

The match was useful, I'm sure we will analyze it and see our mistakes. We will improve our game and move forward.

If compared with Euro-2020, then England remains a very good team. But I think that today we played better than last time, there were many good moments. We have a lot to work on and we will improve.

Of course, we felt the support of the fans, we are very grateful to them for that. I am sure that we will satisfy them with results," said Eduard Sobol.
