Attention media! There are no restrictions on Andrii Pavelko's re-election to the UEFA Executive Committee
In response to the spread of false information by certain media, we would like to inform the public of the following.
There is no court decision that prohibits the President of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Andrii Pavelko, from running for re-election to the UEFA Executive Committee.
Andrii Pavelko has successfully passed all UEFA checks and his candidacy was approved for the election to the organization's executive body. He is the only representative from Ukraine among all candidates.
Ukraine must defend its place in the UEFA leadership, as for the next two years, the country with the code "404" will be represented there. The latter is undoubtedly interested in Ukraine losing its current position in UEFA.
The UAF is forced to take UNIAN and TSN media to court for spreading false information in articles titled "Pavelko cannot run for UEFA due to a court decision" and "Court prohibits Pavelko from running for UEFA: details of a high-profile case".
We urge the media to carefully approach such rumors, verify information, and not become accomplices of opponents of Ukraine in the fight for its football representation on the international stage.
Congratulations to Andriy Pavel on his birthday!
We wish good health, the most important thing for every Ukrainian &m...
