Euro-2023 (U-21). Three opponents of the youth national team of Ukraine held two sparring matches in the final tournament
While the youth national team of Ukraine played control matches with Denmark within the framework of the March NTZ (3: 2) and Italy (1:3), opponents of Ruslan Rotan's wards in the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21), the teams of Croatia, Romania and Spain, held their sparring sessions.
In particular, the youth national team of Croatia played a draw with Israel at home (0:0), and defeated England on the road (2:1, goals - Baturina, Belo).
The Romanians lost to Portugal (0:2) on their own field and parted peace with Germany (0:0).
The Spanish "youth" beat Switzerland at home (3:2, Rodri Sanchez, Riquelme-2) and did without goals away to France (0:0).
We will remind that this year the youth national team of Ukraine will take part in the final tournament of Euro-2023 (U-21). In total, 21 teams will participate in the forum, which will take place from June 8 to July 16 in Georgia and Romania. According to the results of the draw, which had happened On October 18 of last year in Bucharest, the blue and yellow got into group B, where will meet with Romania, Spain and Croatia. The three best teams of Euro 2023 (except France and England) will book their places at the 2024 Olympic Games.
