The 47th regular UEFA Congress will be held in Lisbon today
Today, April 5, the 47th UEFA Congress will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The event will begin at 09.00:11.00 a.m. local time (13.00:15.00 a.m. Kyiv time) and will end approximately at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. (XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.).
Before agenda of the congress included, in particular, the reports of the UEFA president Alexander Ceferin, the executive committee of the organization and administration, the renewal of the UEFA committees and regular elections of the president and members of the UEFA Executive Committee. The president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Pavelko, is among the candidates for the elections to the executive committee.
There are 13 applicants for nine seats in the executive committee, the UEFA official website reports. All candidates have successfully passed the eligibility check carried out by the election commission consisting of members of the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee (in accordance with Article 21(6) of the UEFA Statute and Article 4bis of the Regulation governing the implementation of the UEFA Statute).
