Oleksandr Usyk became the ambassador of the national team of Ukraine
The WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight boxing champion will help the national football team of Ukraine in the implementation of a number of social projects.
In particular, together with the Ukrainian Football Association, Oleksandr will contribute to the organization of trips to matches of the country's main team of soldiers who were wounded at the front, football tournaments with the participation of combatants, assistance to medical institutions where wounded soldiers are being treated, as well as charity events in support of families of fallen soldiers and other projects. The main goal is to help the military participants of the war for the independence of Ukraine to undergo rehabilitation after receiving injuries and return to a peaceful life.

Yes, the nearest trip of our Heroes to the national team match with the assistance of the team ambassador is planned for the Euro-2024 Ukraine-Malta selection match, which will take place in Trnava, Slovakia, on June 19. Oleksandr already has relevant practical experience, as last year he helped organize the departure of the warriors to the main team's match in Krakow, where on September 27 the national team met the Scottish team as part of the 2022/2023 UEFA Nations League draw. In addition, the Oleksandr Usyk Charitable Fund has been actively helping the defenders of Ukraine for a long time to purchase transport, medicines and equipment needed by our soldiers to deter Russian military aggression.
