The men's and women's beach soccer teams of Ukraine received opponents at the 2023 European Games

The draw took place today at the BSWW HQ in Barcelona of the group stage of men's and women's beach soccer tournaments at the III European Games.

The men's national team of Ukraine learned the names of their opponents along with seven other teams that qualified for prestigious competitions in Poland. The wards of Mykola Kostenko and Oleksandr Korniychuk were drawn into group B along with the national teams of Switzerland, Italy and Moldova.

Six women's teams, including the national team of Ukraine, will also perform at the 2023 European Games. According to the results of the draw, Yuriy Klymenko's wards got into group B, where they will compete with teams from Spain and Italy.

Men

Group A: Poland, Portugal, Spain, Azerbaijan.

Group B: Switzerland, Italy, Ukraine, Moldova. 

Women

Group A: Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic.

Group B: Spain, Italy, Ukraine.

According to the regulations of the competition, both men's and women's national teams will play in a one-round tournament at the group stage, the results of which will lead to the semi-finals of the two best teams from each group. The losers will compete for 5-8 places among men and 5-6 places among women.

We remind you that both the men's and women's beach soccer tournaments at the 2023 European Games will be held from June 27 to July 1 in Tarnow, Poland.
