We bring to your attention the operative information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 26.05.2023 on the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and fifty-seventh day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

Tonight, Russian terrorists carried out another missile and air strike with "shahedas" on Ukraine. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

In total, during the past day, the enemy launched four missile strikes. A S-300 missile hit a dam in the Karlivka area of ​​the Donetsk region. As a result, there is a great threat of flooding other nearby settlements. In addition, the enemy carried out 55 air strikes. In particular, 36 Iranian Shahed attack UAVs were used - all these air targets were destroyed. 19 attacks from multiple rocket launchers were also recorded.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions — 22 combat clashes took place during the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions operational situation — without significant changes.

In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Senkivka, Snovsk, Gai, Kamianska Sloboda of the Chernihiv region; Bachivsk, Khodyne, Volodymyrivka, Basivka, Oleksandrivka, and Velika Pisarivka in the Sumy region, as well as Strelecha, Krasne, Cherkasy Tyshki, Lukyantsi, Neskuchne, Ternova, Vovchansk, Chugunivka, and Khatne in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction the enemy does not stop trying to improve the tactical position. He carried out airstrikes near Chaykivka and Kislivka, Kharkiv region. During the day, he conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of ​​Masyutivka. Topoli, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Zapadne, Kislivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lyman direction during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of ​​Bilogorivka, Luhansk region. He carried out airstrikes here and near Ivano-Daryivka, Donetsk region. Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Ivanivka, Torske, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction during the day, the enemy continued to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut area. Vasyukivka, Privillia, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Predtechine, Kostyantynivka, Bila Gora and North of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Krasnohorivka. He carried out airstrikes in the area of ​​Avdiyivka and Vodyanyi. Conducted artillery shelling near Avdiivka, Pervomaiskyi and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.

On the Marinsky direction units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous enemy attacks in the area of ​​the city of Maryinka. There, the enemy used aircraft for strikes. At the same time, Maryinka and Pobeda of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

On the Shakhtarsky direction the occupiers shelled, in particular, Vugledar, Prechistivka and Novosilka.

On the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Olhivskyi, Gulyaipol, Novodanilivka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Novoberyslav in the Kherson region. Shelled the settlements of Zelene Pole, Olhivske, Malinivka, Gulyaipole, Gulyaipilske, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Shcherbaki, Stepove, Kamianske, and Stepnohirsk of the Zaporizhia region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region (seven private residential buildings were damaged); Zolota Balka, Novoaleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Vesele, Kozatske, Lviv, Vysuntsi, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Veletenske of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Aviation of the Defense Forces made five strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy.

Also, our defenders shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft last day.

Ukrainian missile and gunners hit a control post, an anti-aircraft missile complex, two manpower concentration areas, one ammunition depot, one radar station and two artillery units in firing positions.
