We will remind that 12 teams played according to the standard scheme in two rounds: 11 rounds in the first round, which ended in early December 2022, and 11 more rounds in the spring of 2023.

For the first time in the history of domestic women's football, the top league clubs competed to determine the two teams that will represent Ukraine in the women's Champions League next season. According to the results of the competition, the national champion, "Vorskla" from Poltava, will begin their performances at the first qualifying stage of the Champions' Path, and the team that took second place in the championship, "Kryvbas" from Kryvyi Rih, will play in the first round of the Path of League Representatives. Let's add that the third prize-winner of the championship was Kolos "Colossus".

The team that took 2022th place at the results of the championship of Ukraine of the higher league of the 2023/12 season, "Atex" from the capital, will move to the first league.
